Far Infrared Rays
Far infrared rays are frequencies of light energy from the sun's invisible spectrum. NASA discovered how to generate these rays from mineral compounds placed in environmental suits during the early days of space exploration. Over hundreds of thousands of years of evolution our biological systems showed their dependence on these frequencies for well-being. It is only in the last 100 years since man has become more of an "Inside Creature" vs. an "Outside Creature" that we have become bereft of the healing energies of FIR. When FIR generation became public information, many patents for medical devices were applied for in Japan and Korea, where the research behind the BioMat was done.

FIR has the ability to deeply penetrate into the body and raise the core body temperature, promoting circulation and invigorating cellular activity. Through the ability to penetrate the tissues, FIR helps the body get rid of toxins and metabolic waste. Through the stimulation of blood vessels, oxygen is brought to the joints and extremities speeding recovery from injury and surgery. The circulation and oxygenation relaxes tight muscles and reduces swelling and inflammation of muscle tissue, joints and nerves.
